I live in Virginia, kinda high-strung yet laid-back at the same time. (I know that doesn’t make any sense, you just have to know me) I work as a defense contractor in electronics engineering. I’m a writer. Married with adult kids.
Favorite Music/Bands/Singers/Shows/Acts
Practically any “old-school” R&B. Also like 60-70’s Rock & Roll. (My taste varies heavily because I’m originally from Detroit Michigan)
Favorite Movies/TV/Internet Video
Hmmm, Star Wars, (all of them) Mob movies and any movies with Fighter planes blowing things up.

September 1983. I was stationed there via the Air Force. I really didn’t like the place at all. It was like stepping back in time 10 years! The strip was okay but I wasn’t much of a gambler in those days so I only went there when family/friends came to visit. I couldn’t wait to leave and I transferred out in 1985. But, as they say, your last assignment is your best assignment. So, I volunteered to go back and I was there in 1989-1990. The place had changed quite a bit and is still evolving as I type this. I left the service and moved about 200 miles north of Vegas to a little town named Tonopah. There’s not much there so I went to Vegas every other weekend for a year. I’ve been hooked for awhile now. My family has started annual trips there.
What I Like Most About Las Vegas Is...
The lights, sounds and enormity of it all. I require a lot of input, (possibly ADHD) so Vegas fills that requirement! The constant overload of taxis, porn slappers, time-share hawkers, scammers, hookers drunks, etc. etc. makes for a lot of fun for me. On the flip side, I wish they would stop building bigger casinos, the place is getting way too expensive.
