Raised in So Cal. Joined USAF at 19. Spent 8 years military, 5 years as a radio DJ. Did some knock-about stuff to fill in the gaps. Stayed single till 33 then married a woman with 3 kids. Talk about culture shock!
Favorite Music/Bands/Singers/Shows/Acts
Mostly Heavy Metal, especially Ozzy Osbourne and Metallica, but also enjoy other music too, just not as much. I don't get along with Gospel or Jazz very well.
Favorite Movies/TV/Internet Video
The Matrix -- It was just too cool. And who can do Vegas without loving this?
Favorite Books/Manuals/Maps/Guides
For pure escapism, I read Fantasy and SciFi. So, favorite books would include;
J.R.R. Tolkien Lord of the Rings
Robert Jordan Wheel of Time
Ann McCaffery Pern
Michael Moorcock Eternal Champion
Those are among the best, there's just too many others to list.
About 1965, with my parents while in vacation. Loved it then, love it now. Couldn't wait to grow up and do all that neat stuff!
What I Like Most About Las Vegas Is...
Drinking, gambling, sex any time the mood hits, lots of good food almost any time of day or night, sleeping late, hang out at the pool being lazy... It's a blast. It's about as close as I can get to being a totally irresponsible adult and still survive it.
Fanatical Favorites:
As with the music, Ozzy Osbourne. I've been following his music and carreer since about 1970. He's just too good to explain. I never get tired of his voice and appreciate his message, which most people totally miss.
I used to work at Barton Creek mall when it (and we LOL) were new, nicest place I ever lived, You honor me bt being my friend. Sure would be a kick to meet sometime.
