Have been to Las Vegas about ten or eleven times. I don't enjoy slots and pretty much play blackjack exclusively.

1982. Stayed at a motel called "The Canadian" or some such thing. We were drawn in by the fact it was a Canadian-owned place. Was on the strip north of Circus Circus. Whatever happened to that place.

The hedonism. Great value for low cost. I now live in a small town so Las Vegas provides wonderful dining/nightlife/shopping/entertainment options I no longer have access to.
