I work part-time as a consultant for Slimming World - supporting people while they lose weight and helping them to feel better about themselves.
We've just celebrated our silver wedding anniversary and we have two sons, one of 16 and one of 20.
Favorite Music/Bands/Singers/Shows/Acts
I love the "oldies" - music from the early seventies (particularly David Cassidy!).
We haven't been to so many concerts this year. My older son and I saw Lionel Richie in April and John Barrowman in May. My husband and I will be seeing Coldplay again in September.
The last CD I bought was a John Barrowman one, as I'm a bit obsessed with him at the moment!
Favorite Movies/TV/Internet Video
Dirty Dancing, Love Actually, Sleepless in Seattle, The Warriors, Shawshank Redemption, Rain Man and To Kill a Mockingbird.
On TV I love Heroes, Dr Who and, of course, Torchwood. I think I may be a bit of a "geek".
Favorite Books/Manuals/Maps/Guides
Anything by Sue Grafton, Janet Evanovich, Dennis Lehane and Lee Child.
August 1998 for a friend's wedding. Had no idea what we were doing - stayed at a Best Western way off strip, did no gambling (had two young sons with us) and the only buffet we ate at was Circus Circus.
So I count my first "real" trip as October 2001 to celebrate my 40th birthday. We've managed to get there every year since (this year's trip is the last week in October to celebrate my husband's 50th, my dad's 80th and my older son's 21st.)
What I Like Most About Las Vegas Is...
Visiting Vegas is like taking time off from the real world.
