The first time I ever had my own room was when I got a room with a couple of buddies at the Golden Nugget back in the early 1990s when I was only 20. We snuck on to some tables and played some video poker.

I love getting into Las Vegas. Be it coming through the airport, or driving up the 15, there is something special about just getting into Vegas.

Of course, I have a long-standing tradition of listening to "Free Bird" when coming down the mountain heading into Primm. And not the "Free Bird" you all know, but one done by Van Zandt's brother. It's a horrible version, but it's my getting to Vegas song.
