Wow, you lived in Mill Creek and now live in Mukilteo....what a small world! I had no idea! Mukilteo is beautiful. We lived in Bellevue for 26 years and moved to MC in 2006. My dad was going to move in with us and we wanted to be near my niece (Bothell), so we bought a house up here. My dad passed away the week after the escrow closed on our Bellevue house, so here we are. But that is ok, it is nice to be near our niece's family and boys and we like it up here (but I must confess that I miss Bellevue from time to time). Ha!
MC Town Center. Yeah, guess they had to build a downtown MC since there wasn't one. We like the shops and convenience, etc. A lot of towns seem to be going to this new 'style'. I'm sure there will be more built around here at some point. Can't believe all the growth going on and traffic everywhere! We work at home so are able to avoid a lot of that.
Livvie is our second Cavalier and will be seven in May. Our Brandy (also Blenheim) died in 2000 at 13 years old. We still miss her! Cavaliers as you know are such a wonderful, loving breed, they suck you in LOL!!! Hubby really wanted Livvie so I caved in and said ok!
It is hard to leave them while traveling. We'll take Livvie over to our niece's house if it is just for a few days but more than that and we leave her at our Vet's. They take pretty good care of her and let her sit in the office with them at times. They love her there. Livvie doesn't like it at all when we are gone because it messes up her routine. She runs this place, ya' know! LOL.
Enjoy your Charles. I know you will. There are a couple of other members around here with Cavaliers as well.
