Blog Entry: Ok, my first ever blog, anywhere on the internet let alone Openvegas...but you all know Gene enpowers us to get more involved in this site, so here I go..taking a huge leap for vegas kind. Please excuse the spelling mistakes and typeos, it is late at night here in the UK and I am very tired. I am not to sure what I am going to say, so some of it may be ramble so please forgive me. 5th of Dec is departure day, its been 18 months since we were last in Vegas, even thou this is a long time to some of you, to us it is the shortest I have ever had to wait to get back. Our trip in Dec was a complete surprise to me..back in April my husband said to start looking at prices and flights. I came up with a price and he said book it. I dont need telling twice so it was booked within about 10 mins of him saying it. I have been unwell since coming back last year, so this is a welcome break and I cant wait. Ok i wont be able to do things we would normally do and I have a wheelchair booked to be delivered to the Monte Carlo on our arrival date, but even if i have to spend the day in the hotel room at least the view is different from the view at home (a strip view is booked lol). My husband Clive is running the marathon and it is my 34th birthday the same day. We plan to see my beloved Lance Burton and carrot top while we are there. I would also like to see Americas got talent at the PH, but it depends on how much I can get the tickets for, I dont really want to pay the full prices they are asking. Ok 23 days to go, I have started packing and all spending money is in the doller account, waiting for withdrawel. US visa waivers are done and printed, so just gotta finish packing, and go. Cant wait. More blogs to follow, when I think of something to say.
