What is a blog and what does it mean to me?

Members here on OpenVegas.com are more than just the casual Las Vegas visitor. Many consider themselfs "Vegas Fanatics".. but most just love the Vegas Experience. When they can't be in Las Vegas.. they visit this site.

I'm not sure what the difference would be between a Trip Report and a Blog here. Technically a person could post their TR here as a blog and in the message forums. In both areas other members can either reply or post comments. As an administrator.. I don't have a problem if somebody does just that.

In the message forums other users have pointed out that they have no interest what so ever posting a Blog. Another thought it would be embarrassing to Blog unless you have a college degree or something. I don't follow that kind of elitist thinking. If you are honest and blog with your heart. That is all that matters.. not your command of the English language.

It is clear that many of the visitors here know much more about Las Vegas than many of the so called experts.

I encourage people to take advantage of this great new feature.
