Wow opening week for Aria, we need a play by play....lights Camera ACTION! ELVIS!

I'll be wandering through December 20th.

We will be in Vegas from Dec 6th to the 11th. During that time we will prpbably grace them with our presence by doing a walkthru.

I was inspired to make this trip to Vegas to see M Resort (T-23 Hrs!) but City Center doesn't inspire the same way. I will see it when I see it. I am especially not looking forward to the server based slots at the Aria casino. If the word of mouth is really good, maybe I will think about coming back next year but otherwise, I think I will be over Vegas for a little while and vacationing elsewhere next year.

We're going to Las Vegas for New Years Eve and so will see it sometime that week.

I'm getting a new camera and plan to take plenty of pictures, but pretty sure there will be lots of photos shared in the days after it opens.

Having stayed at Monte Carlo in Sept 2007 and Oct 2009, we have seen it close up. However, I do have an urge to stay at Aria soon.

LEO21: Enjoy M resort. I haven't stayed there but have played there a few times and it is really nice.

If they're open when I get there tonight I'll go.....Haven't planned a trip for december yet....but I planned one last night for tommmorow. Going with an old friend who got a free night at the candlewood suites on paradise...then we're moving to downtown. Anyone else going to be in town?

I'm confused. I thought they were opening on December 16. Is that just the "official" opening date and they are having a "soft" opening before that?

I hope so, as we will be in Vegas from the 5th to the 12th. Not that I will spend much time in the place, but would like to have a walk through. I am sure it will be way too high-brow for me.

Vdara is scheduled for 12/1. Mandarin Oriental is for 12/5. Aria is 12/16. So no casino on the site until the 16th. I am vague as to when Crystals, the shopping component opens, but it may be in December, too.

I will be there December 18th! Looking forward to seeing it!

First it needs to actually open and when it does then we will be there on our next trip....once we can pinpoint a viable date.

Dec 18 & 19 at Aria, and 20, 21 at Vdarra before I move to THEhotel until the 24th for me!

We'll probably go to Vegas in December, but seeing City Center isn't a priority. If we get there, we get there.

I'm sure it will be very nice, just like many hotels and resorts in any major city. And I don't make a habit of checking those out either.

Places like Caesars, Paris, NYNY, you can't find those anywhere but Vegas. They're unique, they're different, they make Vegas Vegas.

City Center could be in New York, Chicago or L.A.

Blah.

I did a walk thru of the condo - models about a year ago... Awesome! No plans to make a special trip for the official grand opening so I guess I'll see it when I see it.

Got a mail offer for 3 free nights at Aria plus $200 in food and beverage. Called and booked today! December 18th-21st!! Looking forward to it!
