Default Vince Neil Ink - anyone been there?

Thinking about getting some work done in December - has anyone visited VNI or gotten work done there? Looking for any experiences - the work I would get would be a portrait of my son.

I went to the one near IP when they first opened. Not impressed at all. Prices are ridiculous and the artists had pretty poor attitudes, IMO. You're paying for the name on the door not quality work. Same with H&H at the Hard Rock. I prefer Luc at Pair of Dice Tattoo near Mandalay, but honestly, you're better off getting the work done at home.

I met a woman at the fountains last year, who had just had one done by him, it was a little tat of her doggie she had just lost.
It was a little sore looking and it had all the vas all over it, but it looked real good. It was black and white. My husband who has a vince ray creation on his shoulder and who has reserched tattoos alot, said it was a really good one and well done.

If you want it, go for it hun...Good Luck.

Thanks for the responses - guess I will stop by and look...I have one artist here at home, but since this will be a portrait of my son, I am a little nervous lol, only get one shot. Thanks again for the input.

Missed the part about it being a portrait. If you can't get to High Voltage in LA (insane portrait work, ridiculous TV show notwithstanding!), then I'd try to get in with Twig at H&H at the Hard Rock. He does excellent portrait work. The prices are high, but if it is something you want to be perfect, it's worth it. I do know that H&H will do any touch up work for you free on a future visit so it is worth checking out. Also, take a look at Pair-A-Dice's website at http://www.pairadicetattoo.com/ and check out their work. They do some great portraits as well.

Good luck and post a picture of the tat when you get it!

On my 1st visit to Vegas, me and my friend had some ink done to make the trip more memorable.
It was my friends 1st tattoo so we did some research for a studio to go to where we wouldn't get ripped off and had a good quality tattoo for our efforts.
We found Skin Factory Tattoo (http://www.skinfactorytattoo.com/), dropped them an email and were booked in during our visit to Vegas.
The studio was absolutely pristine when we got there, and the staff were really really friendly.
My friend had his tattoo done by Eddie (i think he is the owner), and has a portfolio on the website.
2 years on and our tattoo's still look new!!!
I'd really recommend this studio, and there's a possibility we'll be having more ink there in Feb!!
