Florida native who lived in six states, only to return home to Florida to live and raise my family. FSU graduate (go 'Noles)and avid sports fan. Favorite Music/Bands/Singers/Shows/Acts
Love the Eagles, Jimmy Buffett, Fleetwood Mac, James Taylor. In Vegas, I love anyone who plays that I can see for free (what a great town) but also enjoy the great concert venues. Although I really don't go to Las Vegas for big concerts, I have seen Sting, Elton, and David Bowie.

Have seen all the Cirque Shows except Mystere. Do I win a prize when I've completed them all?

Lately I've been really hooked on Moonlight - that sexy vampire show. Have you seen this guy? You should really check it out - he is pretty darn close to my vision of an ideal man (except for that pesky blood drinking habit - I guess all men have their quirks, right, girls?) and it is a well written show. (when the writers are writing)
Favorite Books/Manuals/Maps/Guides
"Your Girlfriend Only Knows So Much" - latest book I recommend to my girlfriends. I love the classics (re-reading Pride and Prejudice now) as well as "bodice ripper" romance novels. Hate self-help, inspirational or business "how to" manuals - they put me to sleep.
in the '80s with my husband and his parents. We stayed at the Flamingo and I think I gambled with $20 on 3 nickle slot machines. We saw Sammy Davis, Jr. and Bill Cosby together - Sammy brought the house down. The inlaws didn't drink or gamble, so we had to "sneak" our two drink minimum. I have since gotten rid of that husband and set of inlaws and go to Vegas solo these days! Way more fun!
What I Like Most About Las Vegas Is...
Having it all in one place - spas, restaurants, fine hotels, shows, nightlife, people watching, natural beauty, someone bringing me cocktails 24 hours a day and the possibility of winning MegaBucks. It's a place I can go and NOT be mommy for a few days and still act like a 29 year old! Some place I can go with my spouse, my girl friend or just by myself. Especially by myself. My favorite hotels are Venetian and Bellagio, but have also stayed at Harrahs, Rio, Ballys, Flamingo and Hard Rock.
Fanatical Favorites:
Don't really know what classifies as a "fanatical" favorite - and if this should pertain only to Las Vegas. Until someone clears this up for me, I will list my interests as drinking great wine with good friends, chocolate, animals (I only have cats now, for some reason...Spot the cat, Oreo and my new 10 week old kitten, Asia), travel (as much and as often as possible - my friends accuse me of being retired), sailing,cooking, scuba diving, reading, watching sports (especially football)and playing with my kids. I escape to our home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming to snow ski and spend summers but would rather be on the beach than anywhere in the world.

real estate market still decent in hawaii, you could always move this side for business (just kidding). Not sure how it is in florida. I was in real estate about 13 years ago but got out when the market dived. I should have stayed in, at least I would have been there when the boom in the early 2000's took off.
